Fibre & fixed-wireless broadband · Aberdeenshire & Angus

Rural broadband, done right.

Local internet, local support. We've been connecting rural Aberdeenshire and Angus for over ten years — full fibre where the network reaches, and fixed wireless beamed across the hills to the properties it doesn't.

How it works

No phone line. No trench. Just line of sight.

Fixed wireless replaces the copper mile with a radio hop from a hilltop mast. For most rural properties it's not a compromise — it's a better path to the internet than the one the exchange can offer.

  1. 01

    Fibre backhaul

A high-capacity fibre feed lands at our core and fans out to a network of masts on high ground across the Mearns and the glens.

  2. 02

    Line of sight

A small antenna on your roof locks onto the nearest mast. Nothing goes in the ground and nothing depends on the ageing phone network — the signal simply crosses the terrain to you.

  3. 03

    Connected

Your router hands out wifi exactly as you would expect. The radio hop adds only a few milliseconds, and the whole path is engineered, monitored and maintained by people who live here.

Coverage

Where we reach

Our masts cover much of the Howe of the Mearns and the southern Angus glens. Coverage within a district depends on line of sight, so treat this as the starting point for a conversation, not a guarantee.

Get connected

Can we reach you?

Coverage comes down to where the fibre reaches and, for fixed wireless, line of sight to one of our masts — terrain as much as distance. Check your address against the network and request a free site survey, and we'll confirm exactly what you can get.
